  Although they lost their school a while back, they have certainly not lost their parish spirit. One of the only local churches with a 4pm Sunday mass. Parking can be tricky so get there on time.

  I've been associated lot with St. Charles Borromeo parish, Drexel Hill, Penna. for yrs. It started when my since-deceased maternal grand-parents and my late mother (Mrs. Mary C. Hagee, d. 1985) first moved into that home in June, 1950. Late Mrs. Margaret ("Marge") Cannon's home parish for over half-century was St. Charles Borromeo, Drexel Hill, Penna. And she and my deceased maternal grand-father, late Walter Cannon, Sr., who were married for over half-century resided there together for over 3 decades until his death in February, 1984. I've been going to numerous Masses there over yrs. as well as Pre-Christmas holiday season bazaars.

  The parishioners park along both sides of Burmont Road despite the fact that the street is too narrow for parking. Creating a single lane two way 25mph street at an intersection, just past a curve. They would rather create a life threatening situation for all passers-by than be made to walk more than one block.
