Yesterday I attended a funeral and had one of the most horrible experiences. No directions at to where in the cemetery the funeral home was located. We were offered a walking trail to the front entrance which was covered with Ice, twigs, and branches. Now the mud...Nothing was adequately done to make a walking arrangement to the burial plot. We were sinking in mud! I was a family member but not immediate and it upset me for the family. It was a nightmare. It snowed Monday, it poured rain on Tuesday - you work in the cemetery and have been doing this for years - there is no reason for this to have happened.

  • I felt particularly certain once there, but being where my grandparents are now buried, it's truly a beautiful place to be placed finally after a particuly hard time accepting the loss (all happens so quickly Must get it Done ASAP And there was a beautiful sky this past Saturday, the light coming in angelicly as we said good bye, my sons remains were where I was happy to be ESP him going before me.... I now know he's across street from where he was born and again Not alone but next to two of his favorite people, as well as mine While costly to open the ground (plot was purchased many years ago) I thank you grandpop for changing your minhd and purchasing extra plots and Grandmom for offering them to me in late 90s never thinking they'd be needed for a child ESP one of ours. The only reason it's not a 5 star is I feel a couple grand just to open ground was just ridiculously expensive which they know but they all know they got you. Sure I thiugjt give me a shovel - I could open ground (dig a hole) for free' But to do this to families that bought these plots is nuts. And last thing I was worried about was money but again You're still trying to accept your adult child has passed on and oh, by the way Besides the thousands you already paid ... Add 3 more grand to "dig their hole" Whatever you wanna call it . I wanna believe the particularly nice day we had (or I had even though I was more upset leaving him, the lighting and summer breezes Etc Was a sign from one of them If not all three .... See you soon my son Mom

  • When we arrived at Arlington Cemetery to make the burial arrangements we were in a state of much distress.
The staff there was very sympathetic to our needs and made what we thought would be a very a difficult experience a good deal less stressful.
They were a totally professional group of folks.

  • Beautiful elementary located conveniently off of Landsdowne Road. Very close to intersection of Rt 1 and RT 3.

  • It's beautiful, the war veterans are clearly marked and the guys that drive around in the cart picking up branches and cleaning up can tell you why some things are historic places. It's a beautiful place to just walk around.
